2015 fall mosquito lagoon

Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing report Mosquito Lagoon Fall 2015

Well the whispers of fall are starting to arrive with some cooler temps and wind switching more Northward. Till mid to late October we will still be getting pig fish as bait and having good catches of reds and trout on them . The artificial bite will start to improve with the mullet run going strong , what this means is that top water baits will be getting vicious strikes as well as jerk baits worked around the mullet schools . Tarpon are still around as well as snook in a variety of sizes , the tarpon will be around until the first hard cold front that usually hits in late October or early November. As the weather turns cooler the water should be cleaning up making sight fishing much better . For all my returning clients I am running another boat that will make 3 person charters much more comfortable . The Hells Bay Guide is a wider longer and more stable platform that still gets into the ultra shallow flats .

Mosquito Lagoon Fishing Forecast:

Red fish tarpon trout snook
