Fall & Winter Reds

Capt. Michael Bales
December 20, 2008
Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

This week on the lagoon has been outstanding! The weather and the fishing has been great. Several schools of reds are starting to form up making for some great sight fishing. Here are some tricks, use extra stealth when pursuing shallow fish, try to make your cast beyond the fish and present the lure or fly so that it is ahead of the fish and they will not be "spooked" as easily. I look forward to seeing you on the water or call me to take a charter trip on the world famous "Mosquito Lagoon".
