Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The sight casting for reds and trout in mosquito lagoon has been pretty good in extremely shallow water . They both have been tailing in the grass and are eating fly , live shrimp and gulp shrimp. There is still some water clean enough to find cruising reds the secret is to move very slow . Offshore the mangrove and red snapper have been eating well . The word is we are going to get a two consecutive weekends where the Red snapper are legal to harvest and this should be announced soon . Cobia are being found on the wrecks and reefs as well as kings .
Mosquito Lagoon Fishing Forecast:

We should have some awesome fishing both inshore and offshore around labor day day depending on what the tropical storm does over the next few days . Typically tropical storms and hurricanes turn the bite on and its should push warmer water up the beach giving us some great fishing along the beach
Target Species:

Red Fish , Trout , Cobia , Tarpon , snapper , king fish
