Mosquito Lagoon - Saltwater Fishing Report

The Mosquito Lagoon has been giving up alot of trout and redfish this week.
If you plan on sight fishing for these fish it is a good idea to practice
your casting, if you cast ahead of your target you usually get a bite. If you
cast behind them or fifteen feet away from them you will not catch them,
guaranteed. Dr. Scott and Jerry Falen joined me for a morning trip and had
the shots of a lifetime, twenty tails up and more at once. These guys could
cast and placed perfect shots to reds all morning. They caught fifteen reds
to thirty-one inches, good job.
Pat and Rene Archer fished a morning with me and caught five tailing reds
four trout a flounder and some ladyfish. This was Rene's first red and the
bonus was she sight casted to him, good job girl. She also targeted a white
sand spot that was holding a gator trout that she added to her catch.
The Clinker Islands have been holding some nice size trout along with reds,
lady fish, flounder, jacks, and a pompano every once in a while. I like
jigging with 12-Fathom slam,Rs but the easy way is to use pigfish. They are
just starting to get the right size for those hungry trout. Try to book your
trips in advance to get the dates you want to fish. Also call my toll free #

than not. Sorry for those of you that have been trying to reach me on my
email. I will have a new server in the next week or so.
Remember: Think like a fish to catch fish.
