Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report
April fishing finished on a high note with Luca Musico and Peyton Tice winning there divisions in the Gene Doyle Fishing Tournament here is Naples. Bait has become more prevalent and focusing on the end of the incoming around mangrove troughs will produce nice redfish and snook. Trout can be targeted in passes and channels at the start of the incoming tides from Naples to Cape Romano. Using B52 bobbers help in triggering a strike. Tarpon are moving into the area look for rollers on the beaches and using crabs and live mullet under floating rigs can produce the memories of a lifetime.
Naples Fishing Forecast:
With what could be the last front coming through look for the fishing to become off the charts here in SWFL. Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, and Trout should all be ready to start moving to there spawning grounds. And with that being said don't be afraid to take a kid fishing. Kids are the future of fishing and it's very important to get them started early and teach them how to respect what is an amazing fishery we have here in SWFL.
Target Species:
Tarpon Snook Redfish Trout
