Capt. Michael Avinon

Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

I did a shakedown cruise with my wife and daughter yesterday on the new boat and the fishing was as good as it gets. Our first drop of the day we caught 4 keeper red groupers for dinner and we released about another 40 fish betweem 14" and 22".My wife got to find out all about goliath groupers yesterday pulling on one for about 20 min before he found a piece of rock to break her off. Then we went to a wreck and caught a handfull of yellowtails to round out the day.
