Naples Backwater Fishing is Heating Up!

Capt. Joey Benko
March 31, 2019
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

This past week we have seen an increase in the water temps moving back to the mid 70's. With warmer temps look for the action to start improving quickly. With the arrival of baitfish snook can be targeted using pilchards on 3/0 circle hooks or for you artificial guys checkout the full line of live target lures at Mikes Bait House. Redfish can be found roaming the mangrove edges on the end of the incoming tides. Tarpon are starting to show up along the beaches and passes. Throwing bigger baits is key to hooking up some of these monsters. Here is a special trip with some amazing redfish action with slots and overslots being caught.
