Naples Fishing

Capt. Jeremy Kiley
March 30, 2017
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Both kings are back! Spring is in full swing. We have had a number of tarpon "silver kings" show up lately as well as king mackerel nearshore. Nice sized trout have also been feeding on the flats and around passes. The snook also have arose from their winter slumber and are hungry. Redfish have been good size but mostly a few hear or there. Some slob tripletail have also been produced off the crab trap boys. I was always told "you can't catch fish if your hooks not in the water". There maybe some truth behind that.
Please be courteous of other anglers and boaters, were all out to have a good time and return home safe. If you see someone fishing, especially fly fishing on a flat, give them plenty of space. Please don't rush up on someone thats stalking fish or using a pushpole. Most of the time we don't mind if you join us, but kill the engine from afar and drift, troll, or push pole your way into position. Please keep your cigeratte butts and other trash in your boat or make sure it gets to the disposals at the ramp, i've witnessed a lot of trash going overboard or left on the ramps lately. Also read and know your channel markers, I've seen a number of vessels and jet skis slam into sandbars lately outside the markers.
Get out there and join in some spring time action! Find the bait and moving water and you'll find the fish!

Target Species:

Tarpon, Snook, Trout, Redfish, King Mackerel, Tripletail
