Naples Fishing / Estero Fishing

Capt. Jeremy Kiley
November 12, 2016
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

What did the fish say when it swam into a wall?
Dam!
Fishing today was bittersweet. The weather is amazing, calm waters and sunshine all day. The bite was great to start, with several pompano early this morning. Pompano know how to scrap, they're fun little guys on light tackle. We then fished inside for redfish but redfish bite was slow today. We then headed out the pass to try a nearshore reef for gags. Turns out they also didn't feel like eating today. We had a chance at a descent tripletail but turns out he doesn't like his photo taken. All in all the trip was awesome. We did have a great bite to start the morning and excellent weather all day. Good people, good weather, fun was had by all. At the end of the day, time on the water is time well spent.
