Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

The tarpon bite in Naples has been hot. The action has been great for both big tarpon off the beaches and small tarpon in the backcountry. Most of the fish have been taken on thread herring fished under a cork or sight casted in front of a school. The fish in the gulf have been 70+ pounds and the backwater fish have topped out at about 25 lbs. The key to hooking up right now has been fishing the right part of the tide. The tarpon fishing should become even stronger through May and June.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

Tarpon action should become increasingly good

Target Species:

tarpon

Catch Tarpon, Snook, Redfish as well as other tough species in Naples, Fl. I will take you on a fishing adventure aboard my 2007 22' Pathfinder bay boat. The bay boat is a hybrid of a flats boat and a traditional center console. This means not only can we explore the pristine backwaters of naples but also fish the nearshore wrecks and reefs. I use only the best tackle and LIVE BAIT, which means we will catch more and bigger fish than most other charters. Check out my website or call for mo
