Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

As we close down September and October it has truly been a great time to fish here is SWFL. It seems as though every weekend the tournaments in this area helped support a lot of local charities and the fishing action was hot. The redfish and snook remain consistent and the tarpon have been along the beaches and passes. Triple Tail have arrived with the stone crab pots being set out. Target these guys with live shrimp, doa shrimp. Be patient as you can run past a lot of shorties to find the big ones. The redfish and snook action has been best on the incoming tide and along the beaches south of Marco. Here are some great pics from the Naples Take a Soldier Fishing Event and The Redsnook Tournament. Both events I had the pleasure of fishing great ladies.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

The fishing should remain hot with lots of bait around. Weather cooperating it should size up to be a great time of year to fish with cooler temps.
Target Species:

Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, Triple Tail
