Inshore fishing in the Naples area has been very good one day and a struggle the next. Typical for Late March and April. Late season fronts have had something to do with this. On the good days we are catching plenty of Snook and Redfish on bait. There seems to be plenty of Tarpon, but they are difficult to feed. I think all this will change in the on coming weeks and we should see things get going. Fly Fishing has been up and down also, with some great days and some not so great. I was out today and I can't remmember the last time I saw so many Tarpon, we just couldn't get them to bight a Fly, they would make a pass at it just wouldn't comit. Again I think this will change over the next couple of weeks. Snook fishing in the lights around Marco has been very good which willcontinue to shine. The mornings will be the time when you will want to be there from 4 am on.
Offshore Fishing Report
The Kings have arrived, lets hope they stay a while. The bait is in so you can get plenty of Chum and catch all you want on the Fly. Go over a Reef or a Wreck and start live chumming and soon they will appear behind the Boat. Along with the Kings you will have plenty of False Albacore and Cobia looking fo a handout. Grouper fishing is still slow.
