Big Snook

Capt. Tim Daugherty
June 4, 2020
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Big Snook have be Plentiful in the Naples & Marco island areas. The inshore and backcountry fishing has been spot on for this time of year. Snook are cruising the beaches in big numbers . Look pelicans diving or snowy egrets lined up on the beach feasting on small pods of baitfish. These are the areas I have been concentrating on and this is where you will find snook , redfish & sea trout . Tarpon have been cruising just off our beaches as well. Look for rolling fish early in the morning & make sure to position your boat to intercept the schools as they swim by. My bait of choice is Pass crabs, threadfin herring and even mullet. Get out early and beat the heat .
