Summer Fishing

Capt. Ted Gibson
June 7, 2017
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Busy season is finally over and now its time for some great summer fishing. I haven't written one of these in awhile, but here's your Offshore/ Nearshore fishing report for Naples. We've been getting out a few times a week both on charters as well as fun trips. The Goliath Grouper fishing has been getting better and better with the warm water (now in the low 80s). We have also caught keeper cobia on each of our last two trips. Last week we ran out to 60' of water and did some drifts for Red Grouper; ended up getting several up to 27". It's been raining like crazy the last 48 hours, but hopefully it calms down by the weekend so we can start running out farther.
