Summer Heat!

Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

Fishing has been hot along with the weather and afternoon storms that usually push us off the water. Bait in the area is here in great numbers and is steadily growing in size making it more and more productive to fish with. We were blessed with a great snook bite over the past month that kept anglers rods bent very consistently. Redfish have been starting to show up more and more frequently and as the days push closer to our fall months this bite should only get better. Speckled trout have been a nice change of pace as we work shorelines in search of snook and redfish we have been picking up some quality trout here and there also. Along with all this action we have been catching a wide variety of other fish including Snapper, Flounder, Pompano, and Jacks. Now is the time to get out and get back early to avoid the heat and almost guaranteed summer storm.
