SW Florida Offshore Report

Capt. Michael Avinon
December 5, 2011
Naples - Saltwater Fishing Report

The bite has been very consistent the last couple weeks with red groupers making a trip home to the dinner table. They are eating both live and dead baits and as we approach the full moon the bite should get stronger.Along with the red groupers, amberjacks are making a strong appearance for this time of the year, eating mostly live baits.King Mackerel should really show up strong the next few days and probably stick around until sometime in january.

Naples Fishing Forecast:

The busiest time of the year is right around the corner from christmas day until january 8,if your going to be in sw florida make those reservations now.If you wait until the last minute most of the better boats will already be booked and have limited last minute availability. Also if eating out resteraunts can have wait times in excess of an hour,so plan ahead.

More Fishing Reports:

I have been operating out of Naples for over twenty years and have the spots to prove it.With a range of over 400 miles and the speed to get there quickly the options are endless. We are consistently one of the top producing boats in sw florida, stop by the city dock and see for yourself.
