THE BEST FALL FISHING HAS GOTTEN EVEN BETTER!!!!!
Absolute Florida Flats Fishing, a professional fishing guide service located in West Central Florida Gulf Coast including Clearwater, New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin and Palm Harbor, reports the inshore fishing and nearshore fall fishing season is finally here to stay until old man winter brings the chilly, yet very comfortable and productive fishing conditions before and after each cold front passes… Until then, the ...current water temperatures are remaining between 70 and 75 Degrees!! Brisk morning and moderate t-shirt afternoon air temperatures makes refreshing fishing conditions for us, while making the fish very comfortable as they school tightly and eat anything that is presented from artificial fishing techniques using Berkley Gulp shrimp and crab imitation baits and weighted or free lined jerk baits. If live bait fishing is your forte' live pilchards, when available, fresh cut bait and pinfish are

producing rod bending, drag screaming FISH CATCHING ACTION!!!! Redfish are in shallow hard bottom areas protected from the breeze, making sight fishing for them very exciting as the water is turning gin clear, making them an easy target. Trout fishing is at it's norm, this specie in the drum family are feeding in 1′-3′ of water in both hard and grassy bottoms. Large healthy trout are abundant right now and make excellent table fare. Snook Fishing is about to close at the end of December. The closure is implemented because both the larger and average size fish can be found in mass numbers eating all they can before they drag race into their winter homes in rivers and warm spring fed locations, SO COME GET YOUR FALL SNOOK NOW!! Offshore fishing and deep sea fishing is also RED HOT!!! You don't have to travel way out to catch keeper size grouper as we intercept them as they migrate to shallow water rock piles and limestone flat rock areas for the winter. King Mackerel and Spanish Macks are making their southern migration through our region through the middle of November. There are always Barracuda to keep trolling rods bent along with Amberjack, A.K.A. Reef Donkeys. BRING A LIGHT JACKET AND LET'S GO FISHIN'!!!

New Port Richey Fishing Forecast:

As long as water temperature stay in the mid to high 70's the bait fish will remain, and these fish will gorge themselves on them for those in the know !!!
