Lake Kissimmee
After what was a great day of Snake fishing on Lake Kissimmee on Thursday with Mike, Mark called me up wanting me to show him where we had all the great action and wanted to do some Snake fishing.
We hit Lake Kissimmee early on and took Mark up into the North Cove, pointed out 2 areas that have been producing some good sized bass, alot of which have been coming off top water action here lately.
These 2 areas consist of
Area 1) very nice healthy grass beds, perfect for top water action and working spinner baits if you choose to.
Area 2) some very good timber, above and below the surface, working this area very carefully and slowly has produced bass from 5 to 10 pounds the last 2 weeks.Excellent top water area, just be patient and it will happen.
We had worked both these areas over today, catching a few 3 and 4 pounders, using Snakes and the new "Ribbit" from Natural Motion Lures.
Mark was working the Moccasin Snake when the excitement came, a very nice 8.5 pound bass blew the surface after the Snake and after a few minutes was landed, picture taken and set free to be caught another day.
Action on Lake Kissimmee has been really picking up and is shaping up to be an excellent top water bite, dont miss out on the action, give us a call and jump onboard.
Till my next report, tight lines and great fishing.
