Palm Beach Jupiter Inshore Report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
July 27, 2022
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Double dose! The past week has been a reflection of last week, moderate winds and an abundance of sea weed clogging up our beaches and water ways. Canceling any reservations or plans to fish beaches and inlets, forcing anglers to fish inside the intercostal.

Intercostal waters in certain areas offered clean moving water, great areas to find snook. Snook are taking live baits and DOA Terror Eyz in pearl greenback. The Linesiders schooled up offering anglers multiple shots at fish ranging in the 2 to 20 pound class.

Tarpon fishing slowed down a little do to the winds and choppy water forcing tarpon lower in water column. Live baits free lined with tide and DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tail, triggered strikes and acrobatic jumps. The tarpon are schooled up, falling tide has been the best time to get the strikes.

The past week offered a plethora of species for anglers on light tackle. Spanish mackerel, jacks, sharks, bluefish, triple tail and snook offered drag screaming action. The surprise of the week was catching a king fish in the intercostal, the young angler was in shock as well as I.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!
