Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report
July has been a scorcher! Hot weather, warm water temps, but the fish don't seem to care as they keep on chewing.
The tarpon bite has been fantastic the past week. inlets, beaches and deep channels in the intercoastal have provided nonstop action for anglers. Live bait's free lined with the tide will get the drags screaming. Tarpon have been hanging in schools. The tarpon have been averaging in size from 10 to 90 pounds.
The snook fishing has been great, with all the rain we've had spillways have been open and the snook have started to gather. Spillways and channels where water flow is swift, snook will be lurking. Live bait and Rapala top water plugs will get the bite.
Other mixture of species have included, Tripletail, blue fish, mackerel, snapper, jacks, ladyfish, shark, and many other species that keep the rod bent. Anglers love the nonstop action, making the day, abundant with fish and happy faces.
