Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report
Happy July 4 weekend! South has been going off with a bang! Hot weather, thunderstorms and fireworks. Fish are chewing anglers are happy.
Tarpon fishing has been steady, clean water anglers are having a blast, wrangling the silver king. When the freshwater discharges happen, the water gets dirty the bites slows down due to muddy water. Live baits, get the tarpon excited, deep passes and seawalls are holding juvenile fish. Shallow flats provide juvenile action as well. Anglers using Rapala X wraps to get the strike.
Snook fishing in the intercoastal has provided steady action along flats, seawalls, and docks. Deep passes are holding bigger fish on the incoming tide. The dirty water has the snook on guard as sharks have been prevalent in the passes.
The intercoastal is teaming with a plethora of species. Whether you're working the surface or the bottom, anglers can always tango with something. The variety of species the Palm Beaches and Jupiter provide is outstanding. Snook, snapper, jacks, sharks, drum, bluefish, and many other species, all put a smile on anglers faces.
