Palm Beach and Jupiter Inshore Report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
February 23, 2025
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

February is almost over, fun in the sun continues but south Florida did receive another cool front bringing windy conditions. The winds shifted around the clock the past week, the fish kept chewing.

The snook fishing was great the last week, mangroves and docks held schooling fish. Snook very active on both side of the tides, windy conditions stirred up the water, this did not affect the snook. Live bait and DOA C.A.L. Curl tails triggered the strikes. Anglers enjoyed wrangling snook from 15 to 30 inches in size, great fight on Daiwa light tackle.

Tarpon anglers enjoyed a steady bite, deep channels held schools of fish on both sides of the tides. Tarpon could be seen rolling on surface, live bait drifted with tide, enticed strikes. Warmer water temperatures helps keep the bite steady, when temperatures drop tarpon go deep or migrate to muddy bottom areas.

Sharks very dominate and plentiful, struck mullet and baits worked on the surface. Anglers enjoyed drag screaming runs battling sharks on Daiwa light tackle gear. Black tips and bull shark's keet anglers smiling.

Well that is the fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines! Visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X and YouTube
