Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Warm weather stays consistent, the winds have as well. Moderate winds help cut the heat down while anglers enjoy wrangling a plethora of species to the boat.
Snook fanatics are enjoying catching linesiders, along sea walls and docks. The snook are staging in these areas ambushing bait schools. Rapala x raps and Doa 4 inch jerk baits great artificial baits. Live bait always a go to for those looking to put a consistent bend in the rod. Snook are ranging in size from 18 to 30 inches.
As water temperatures warm up, the bigger tarpon are starting to gather in big pods along channel edges and in passes. Live baits are the best way to get these fish to eat. A live bait free lined with the tide, will get the silver kings flying. Juvenile Tarpon are being caught along docks, sea walls and mangrove shorelines, using live baits and Rapala x raps.
Big Spanish mackerel are holding in bays and on flats. Spanish are schooled up attacking Doa 3 inch shad tail and live bait. Mixed in with the mackerel, big jacks, bluefish, ladyfish and moonfish, all providing drag screaming action. Snapper, drum, sharks and weakfish all abundant while working baits on the bottom.
