Mid November and the weather has been phenomenal. Light winds moderate temps. Water temperatures have cooled a little bit due to the cooler nights. Migration fish have started to show up throughout the local intercoastal waterways.
Snook fishing has been excellent along mangrove shorelines, docks and seawalls. The key is find dark muddy bottom and you will find schooled up fish. Live bait and Rapala x raps excellent baits to get the strike. Anglers are having fun catching three of the four species of snook that we have in our local area.
With the cooler water temperatures tarpon fishing has slowed down a little bit, but there are plenty of juvenile fish willing to play. Deep channels and mangrove shorelines are the best areas to locate these fish. Live bait will create plenty of strikes, artificial enthusiast. You can use a Doa terror eyz and get hooked up as well.
The migratory fish have really started to pile in Throughout our intercoastal waterways. Big schools of bluefish, jacks, spanish mackerel and pompano are schooled up. These fish can be caught using a Doa curl tail worked near the bottom worked up top to create surface strikes.
