Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Happy new year! South Florida received a good cold blast to end the week. Moderate winds and water temperatures dropping, anglers had to slow presentations down.

Snook Fishing, along mangrove shorelines and docks, offered anglers plenty of action pre-front. The snook we're striking Rapala x raps and live bait. With the cooler, water temperatures snook ate active midday as water temperatures warm hanging around structure and muddy bottom areas.

Juvenile tarpon offered anglers fun along mangrove shorelines deep holes. Live bait and Rapala X raps triggered strikes from the juvenile Silver Kings. Anglers had fun wrangling these fish ranging from 5 to 20 pounds.
