Palm Beach and Jupiter inshore fishing report

Capt. Craig Korczynski
March 22, 2026
Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

Spring break madness! The past week was a busy one. Kids were out of school and anglers from all over the country looking to come down and enjoy drag screaming action. Conditions were tough at times, as a cool front came through and brisk winds prevailed.

The cooler temperature triggered a great bite for black drum. Anglers enjoyed wrangling these bottom dwellers, catching them on jigs and shrimp. Black drum are cooling fish, which makes for a consistent bite and plenty of drag streaming action.

Heavy, structured areas, rocks, wrecks and channel edges were great areas to target fish. Mangrove snapper, Lane snapper, mutton snapper, pork, fish, grunts, jacks and many other species put a bend in the rod. This fishing was great for anglers looking for plethora of species and plenty of rod, bending action, keeping smiles on junior anglers faces.

Snook fishing in the backcountry was consistent. The water temperatures dropped making the bite slow at times, key was finding moving water and holes that were holding schooling fish. Live bait and Doa curl tail jigs were the bait of choice.

Well, that is the fishing report for the past week. Hope you all enjoyed. Remember, you can't catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com Visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X and YouTube
