Palm Beach - Saltwater Fishing Report

June has arrived! Summertime fun in the sun and lots of drag screaming action. The wind has been abnormally windy the past week.
The snook are starting to gather in local inlets and beaches. Live baits and Doa 3" shad tail will get the strike. Early morning and late evening tend to provide the best bite for anglers. Anglers looking target fish inside sea walls are holding a plethora of snook as well, high outgoing tide best time to sight cast snook laying up.
Tarpon fanatics the Silver Kings are roaming the intercoastal waters and beaches as well. The bigger fish tend to be on the beaches early morning best time to locate the big tarpon. A Doa bait buster or pilchard best way to get the strike. Schooling fish on the inside anglers can sight cast to rolling fish. Live bait and Doa terror eyz excellent baits to get hooked up with the tarpon.
Anglers looking for a plethora of species, bottom fishing has been excellent for lane snapper, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and yellowtail snapper. Also in the mix, jacks, blue runners, barracuda, grunts, and many other species are willing to take a live bait or dead bait on the bottom.
