Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Had a repeat father and son trip. David Krintsberg and his boy Logan. No luck on the bayside Mangrove snappers so we hit the beach. We did some pretty work on the ladyfish, bluefish, and hardtails. Logan had seen a T.V. show on blacktip and spinner sharks. We went sight fishing. Saw a few that other boats had run over. Hooked one and instantly broke it off. Had two more no eats. While looking for the sharks we cast on some big jacks. Hooked one on a pompano jig and the hook straighten. Hooked another on topwater plug and it just came unbuttoned. Saw a nice blacktip crusing down the inner bar and had a great hook-up! Had it on for about five minutes and the damb thing just came off. We reeled in the gear and it was all there, even the lady fish filet. Sorry little buddy! We'll get after them bullreds come September! See you then.

Trout inside still on fire. Flounder moving in. Beach fishing is silly good.
