Kings you ask, well I reply king mackerel Smokers lots of them!!!!
You can find them in the usual spots the whistle buoy is always a good place if you can stand the crowds of charter boats trolling the area. But they also have been showing up on a lot of the wrecks, And even in shore on the middle grounds to the surprise of many people looking for Spanish and blue fish. The big fish seem to be a little leader shy so try Using as small a steel leader as possible.

And finally cobia, yes I said cobia you are thinking cobia that only happens in March and April. But not true we some times get
Them on the way back and this year is a good one I have heard good reports from Destin to panama. I have managed to get two of them on the boat in the last week Including a 60 pounder caught by an 11 year old devin Duplechein from louisiana on a bottom rig.

The Amber Jacks are still biting well and can be chummed up with a little live bait. We are still getting good numbers of snappers. So get down here and book a trip from one of the local captains.
And hold on tight to your pole!!!! You never know what you will catch.
Until next time bent poles and tight lines to all.
