Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The weather has warmed up and the skies are blue. We made a quick run out into the Gulf this weekend and the fishing was about as good as it can get.
We arrived at the first spot and as soon as our jigs got half way down all four of us were pinned to the rail with huge Amberjacks. After about a half hour of this we decided we needed to take a break on some smaller fish and ran a short distance to another spot and caught Banded Rudderfish and Almaco Jacks till our arms were burning.

As if that wasn't enough punishment we went to one more Amberjack spot and caught fish for another hour…I might add we caught all these on Jigs made by Capt. Scott Fitzgerald. If you need some great fish catching jigs give him a call. We ended up catching Amberjack, Banded Rudder Fish, Red Snapper, Almaco Jack, and Grouper all on jigs. The weather is great and the fishing is even better this time of year so give us a call and lets go fishing.

Good luck on the water and in the woods,
Capt. Todd Jones
