Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

I had two charters today. If you read my post you know that I am brutally honest. Some one actually beat me to my # 3 trout hole this morning. It's fine... I have more. I went to a spot I was gonna save till June because I fished my #2 spot yesterday. Today I had a very high end client. Jerry Rhoads, from Kentuckey.

I farm my fish to make a great season for eveyone I carry! This mornig I bent my own rules. We did very well on the morning trip. I headed out on the second trip and stopped to check on #3 knowing very well some one was there that morning. I was disgusted at what I saw. Two dead catfish, 1 keeper trout, dead sitting on the bottum. In two foot of water! I never cull fish! If it's legal, and your gonna eat it, I'm cool with it. I don't fish for my EGO!!! People shouldn't do that kinda stuff. If a spot doesn't produce what you need, move on! All these fish serve a purpose in the ecosystem! I moved on and had to douge the redfish tournament fisherman all afternoon. It's very hard to hide a twenty-four foot towerboat. Ended up with a pretty catch in X-bay. Keeping just enough fish for a fry is always a good thing! On the lighter side... Southwest Airlines opens up for business tomorrow at the North West Florida Beaches International Airport. Yep... Direct flights...No fee for luggage. We have no oil and the fishing is on fire!!!
