Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
Sorry, sorry, sorry for not posting more lately. I do, however, put a lot of videos on my facebook page.
The main reason I haven't posted many fishing reports this year is twofold. First, my 22' Century has died....yes, for all of you that were on it the last year or so while it was suffering from terminal old age, it's coming to slow end with a bullet in the next few weeks. But as any good organ donor would do, the tower, Yamaha and much more are being put on my new Carolina Skiff 24DLX. This boat should be rigged and ready within ten days to two weeks and completely ready for fishing by February 1st, just when the good fishing in Warren Bayou starts.
It will be set up for cobia fishing and fishing the inshore wrecks on top of my regular trout and redfish trips. It's big and roomy and everyone will like it. I may keep it in a slip this year, but it won't be far from where I normally launch.
Been duck hunting a lot this season. We have had great hunts for cans, redheads, bluebills, ringers with the occasional puddle duck mixed in. Season goes to the end of he month. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to take some ducks with me.
Panama City Fishing Forecast:
Winter fishing is on tap.
Duck hunting is hot.
Target Species:
Hot water canal for trout, ducks thru the end of the month.
