Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Picked up my new duck and gator boat. Spent the weekend rigging it out and taking it for a test run. We ridin' in comfort boys. Plenty of room for three and me, my lab Sissy and 200 plus dekes. Going to hunt some old/new places this year....kind of get on the road looking for more birds. We had a decent season last year. Early teal and wood duck will start late September we normally do very well.
I have a gator trip this weekend. There will be stills on this site. You will be able to see a video on my facebook page. I have tags for several more. If you want to go on a gator hunt we can accomodate you any time in September.

Fishing has been good. Catching big numbers of spanish, some unusually large blues and sharks. We jumped our fourth tarpon in the last ten days. I have a video but it didn't come out very well.

During the next few weeks we will start to see the weather begin to change. Temps will fall at night bringing down the bay water temp. Along with the shorter days these conditions will trigger the fall bite for trout and reds. Big reds in the pass, smaller on the flats. Trout on the move and ready to eat. As things cool down the flounder migration will begin. September and October will bring many North Florida slams, flounder, red and trout. You have to be here fishing with a competent guide to get one. Call me....I can get you a slam.
