A lot of ducks in the area, fishing is good.

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The duck hunting this year has been good. We have hunted all over the place, East Bay, West Bay, Choctaw Bay, Deerpoint and some other lakes.
Some places are better than others but my customers have been happy having lot's of shots and taking many birds.
We have been taking redheads, bluebills, woodies, teal, ringers, gaddies and some goldeneyes. I will put you on birds every day.

The steam plant canal, Warren Bayou, is full of fish. We have been catching a few reds in the shallows, with the big bulls still in the pass.
Fishing around the bridges and the deep holes is good for whiting and silver trout.
Mouths of the bayous and the creeks are holding fish.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

This has been a good duck season and will continue thru the end of January.
Winter time fishing in winter time spots.

Target Species:

Ducks with a few fishing trips.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
