Fall fishing has been great in Panama City Florida

Capt. James Pic
October 28, 2011
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Tuesday we took 17 flounder home, some almost five pounds. We put several dozen in the boat the last few weeks.
There have been a lot of reds and trout caught along with large numbers of spanish. Ray has been catching big numbers of spanish with me lately.
Bait is easy to get and that should not change.
We have been fishing some of the inshore wrecks lately catching a lot of species including the elusive and almost extinct red snapper.
Sorry....haven't been taking many pictures lately.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

November should be a good month. Flounder in the bay and the inshore reefs, trout and reds up on the flats.
The big reds are in the pass.
Lots of spanish.
All of these species can be readily available throughout November if the weather holds.
I will be in the Keys part of the month.

Target Species:

Fishing is very good for most species.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
