Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

We had a great week of fishing here in Panama City. The water temperature has reached the magical 70-degree mark, which in turn has brought lots of baitfish and the fish that eat them. We caught our first King Mackerel and Mahi this week.

Along with the newcomers we are still catch Amberjack and Jack Crevalle. These are two of the most powerful fish in the Gulf. They readily take a top water plugs or jigs. But the best thing of all is you can see them chase down both, these are two of the best fish to sight fish.

For those that want to take a few fish home for dinner there are Vermillion, White, and Black Snapper, not to mention the Kings and Mahi.

Thanks,
Capt. Todd Jones
