Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The pass is heating up along with some bay spots the locals know that hold sheeps, reds and black drum this time of year.
Took Troy McQuagg, his son Connor and friend fishing this morning prior to the weather rolling in. The pass bite was a little slow for the bigger fish. We only caught a couple but they were the biggest we could see compared to the rest.

After the pass I moved us up into the bay to some spots that hold a lot of fish this time of year that I have been fishing since I was a kid. We hooked and broke off several good fish but put a few in the boat. Heres some pics....

Fishing in the pass should continue to get better over the next few weeks and then start tapering off.
I have not been able to get out for cobia just year although that will change later this week. There have been a few caught, this should get better with each day.
Spanish are not here as of today but we have had some good southeast winds the last few days which should help them along. I'm still betting on the 25th of March or there abouts.
Don't forget the St. Andrew Guides Association is ready to take care of you or your group this season. With four boats and more local experience than any other group in the area, your fun day on the water, for you, or a group up to 14 persons is just a phone call away.
