Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Hey guys it sure has been a weird couple weeks one day hot the next day cold just can't seem to make up its mind this year. But one thing's for sure the fishing is still hot!!
Offshore were still catching amber Jacks, rudder jacks and lots of bee-liners, triggerfish, white snapper and porgies.

Inshore the bite is starting to turn on we are destroying the trout in the canals and the sheep head bite has just started to pick up and should get better for the next few weeks.

I'm hearing good reports of Pompano starting to show up on the beach and the blue fish are still in the pass. The Spanish mackerel should show up in the next few weeks after that cobia and jack crevalles.
The council have voted on red snapper season and should make a final decision in April but as for now they voted on a 51 day season starting may 24th and going through July 14th for state waters for federal waters a 40 days seasons June first through July 10th however this can all change in April depending on if they approve it or not. I have started to book a few trips in June already and should fill up pretty quickly so if you'd like to book a trip for snapper season please give me a call ASAP to make sure you have a spot. here are a few pictures of last snapper season just to get you ready and excited.

Thanks and hope to fish with you this year!!!!!
And as always bent poles and tight lines to all!!!
