Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Seems like we have been fighting the weather, brown water and lack of bait all year. That hasn't stopped us from putting some qaulity fish in the boat. Got a big king in the bay on a spoon then Ray landed a nice blacktip on 6lb test.

Lately we have had some great weather and have been offshore quite a bit fishing the public spots for grouper and the endangered snapper.
The snapper are definitely endangered. We caught thirty, two of which weighed 15lbs., within a few miles of the beach. We have also been getting lot's of grouper with several limits being caught often.

Fish are coming up and beating the top and chasing bait every day which makes it good for the fly guys.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Flounder are just starting to move. Had a big one yesterday. As long as the weather holds I'm going to go offshore and work on the grouper.
Spanish are thick in the bay along with the ladyfish. Blues are here and there. Trout are on the move and the reds should show up in the pass any time.
Fishing should be good thru November.
