Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

There are more spanish this year than I have ever seen. We had a couple of days two weeks ago when the wind was blowing so hard we had to make for a secret spot. Normally this spot would hold a few spanish but this year we have limited out more than once! Good fish, some "summertime big". This week we had a new influx of spanish along with a lot of big blues. A lot of fly fisher people, easy to catch on the fly.

Trout bite has been good also with a few nice fish being picked up here and there. Still getting the reds in the pass although the sheepshead bite has slowed down.
We keep looking for cobia with only a few being spotted here and there.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Spanish and blues for the rest of the summer.
Gator trout bite is almost here. Reds on the flats.
Pompano along the beach.
Should have a little bit of a flounder run next month.
Target Species:

Fishing is great for most species.
