Flounder on the move, reds in the pass in Panama City Florida.

Capt. James Pic

Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The best eating fish in the bay is on the move and you can come down and get some right now. We started catching good numbers of flounder last week and with this cold front they should start getting thick. Come down and catch one of the best eating fish in the sea. This bite will last for the next few weeks.

The redfish, along with the black snapper, bite is really hot in the pass and this will continue for a while.

This is a great time for fly fishing the area. My fly fishermen the last few weeks have been getting nice jacks, Spanish, big ladyfish and bonito. This is one of the best times of the year to fly fish.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

The fall pattern has began. Flounder are on the move for the next three or four weeks.
There will be plenty of fish on the near shore wrecks, Spanish in the bay and reds in the pass.

Target Species:

fall pattern fishing is on right now.

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
