Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report
This is a great time of year to fish. You can sleep in, have breakfast and then go fishing around 10am. That is exactly what these two gentlemen from Atlanta did yesterday. They met me at Sun Harbor Marina at 10 am. After only a short 20 minute ride out we started jigging on the first spot and immediately had doubles on. Just like the last 5 or 6 trips it was game on for several hours.
They caught Amberjack, Banded Rudder Fish, and Almaco Jacks one after the other. They wanted to keep some fish to eat so we put a limit of Rudder Fish and Almaco Jacks in the box. Just to change it up a little I had a box of squid and hit a few of live bottom spots and they caught White Snapper, Triggerfish, Grouper, Red Snapper, Key West Porgy , and of course more Amberjack.
