Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

The muddy water is starting to clean up and the fish know it. They can feel the chill as the rest of us. There were big schools of bonita everywhere in the gulf this morning just off the beach. Any flyfisherman could have had a ball with them.
Ray managed some nice snapper, b liners and a legal grouper this morning at a public spot less than five miles out. Along with the he has been putting lot's of spanish, big blues and ladyfish in the boat with his four pound test.
There are a lot of nice spanish and the big reds are piling up in the pass and the bay.
Fishing will be fantastic from now til Thanksgiving with the flounder migration starting up soon.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Offshore and inshore, best time of the year is now. Flounder bite will start picking up and be good thru mid November.
Target Species:

Inshore: trout, reds, flounder, spanish and blues. Offshore: snappers of all sorts, bonita, flounder, jacks and grouper.
