Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Weather this time of year can get a little crappy. The water in the bay is brown, again...lol...but we plod on.
I didn't take any pictures of sheepshead this week. We caught some Wednesday. There were guide boats all around me getting hunt up in the rocks and not catching anything. They watched my client, John Wilkenson, methodically catch a few and lose a few. At the end of the day we had some nice fish, all males which means the bite is almost over. Made some ceviche for out of the sheeps, which is awesome, shared it with everyone on the dock.
We have been out once for cobia, no luck, although we had some fun with big jacks.
Today we hit my vermillion snapper hole and limited out in 30 minutes. That's a good bite and if you like good eating fish on light tackle come on down and get some of those.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Everything is picking up very nicely.
Trout and reds in the bay on the flats, fish on the wrecks just off the beach.
Spanish have been hit and miss with all the fresh water flowing into the bay as that clears the Spanish bite will get better.
Target Species:

fishing is good, let's go fishing.
