Inshore wrecks holding a lot of fish in Panama City Florida

Capt. James Pic
February 25, 2014
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Had a group from Sacramento this morning that wanted a tug. After being blanked in the pass fishing for reds and sheeps we went outside to a nearshore wreck.
Fished live shrimp and had a ball. Plenty of endangered red snapper and grouper along with some AJ's.

Spanish run will start soon along with cobia. Offshore spots are holding a lot of fish with snapper starting May 24.

Target Species:

More Fishing Reports:

Sight casting fly and spinning for reds, trout, bonita, spanish, jacks and many other species. Live bait trips available as well as hot topwater action in the bay around Panama City, Florida. Depending on the time of the year I can normally put you on legal grouper in the bay, monster speckled trout, lot's of fly fishing action and just about everything else that swims and good tablefare.
