Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Well I say the same thing every Fall, this is my favorite time of year to be fishing. The baits are plentiful, all the pelagic species are plentiful and the reef fish move in close. This is also the time of year when I can incorporate my favorite style of fishing, flying the Kite. This type of fishing is so visual and action packed you don't even actually have to get the hookup to feel like you accomplished something. It is just plain old FUN!

Now on to the reef fishing. Red Snapper is open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays thru November. We are catching plenty Red Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Grouper, and White Snapper every time we go after them.

On the catch and release side of thing we are catching lots of big Bull Reds inshore and all the Amberjack you care to pull on.
I can't say it enough… this is the best time to be in Panama City. Florida.
Thanks,
