Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Keith Tate and his BFF Carson showed up this morning for a little bait and tug. Keith caught some reds and trout with me earlier this year, today he was interested in the spanish bite.
Bait was easy to get which should have been a sign. Fishing started off slow with a few blues and spanish, lot's of bite offs and lost fish. A flounder ended up in the boat a little later.
After trying a few spots we finally started getting a steady bite with the tide change. We caught a bunch of big spanish, small kings and another "bay smoker"....about ten pounds. Although the day started slow it ended up being pretty fast and good. Good job guys.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Spanish, blues and kings in the bay should continue well into the late summer and early fall.
Trout and reds on the flats.
Flounder are in the bay pretty good this year, better than years past.
