Last Red Snapper Report Until October

Capt. Todd Jones
July 20, 2013
Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Snapper season has come to a close until October. Yes that is right we are going to get a fall season this year starting in October. That means we can catch Snapper and Grouper together at the best time of year for both of them. The last few days of Snapper were really good as you can see from the pictures.

Just because Red Snapper season is closed does not mean you can't catch a nice mess of fish to take home and eat. We are catching lots of Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Grouper, White Snapper, Kings and even a few Cobias. Despite the weather we are catching lots of fish when we can get out in the Gulf.

Good Luck on the water,
Capt. Todd Jones

More Fishing Reports:

Capt. Todd has been fishing the Gulf Coast for over 40 years and guiding for 30 years. He is a second generation fishing guide. While serving his country for 22 years as a Navy Diver he was able to fish all over the world. In his travels he has fished the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, as well as the Mediterranean and the Sea of Cortez. But in his opinion nothing compares to the diversity we have here in the Emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
