Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

What a great week we have had. I just finished up with three straight days of running doubles. Two of the days were spent with Capt. Justin Leake and Capt. Jason Giles on a 3 boat trip. We all fished within talking distance and had all the big Amberjacks and Snapper our crews could handle. There has been lots of bait on the beach. We have started our trips off with catching live sardines, pilchards, cigar minnows, and tinker mackerel with sabiki rigs. Then off to the near shore wrecks and reefs for hours of catching. Usually after about an hour or so of catching Amberjack everyone is ready for the Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, and Triggerfish. That's been the routine for the last week both morning and afternoon…catch bait, catch fish, and have fun!

Be safe and courteous on the water,
Capt. Todd Jones
