Panama City - Saltwater Fishing Report

Can't be semi pro fishermen and redfish day every day. Today it was Noah and Gabrials', from San Antonio, turn to catch some fish. These two guys had never fished in saltwater, having little experience elsewhere, which led me to set up on a ledge.
The day was beautiul, unseasonably cool with a mild northwest wind. We chummed up a bunch of big bluefish, a few spanish and some ladies. They had a ball getting an idea as to what it's like to fish in saltwater with light tackle.

Later, Jay and his son Jesse took advantage of the beautiful day. We mostly targeted trout catching a bunch of nice fish, losing some even bigger fish. Jesse, 7 1/2 years old, proved be up to the challenge catching a large variety of fish to include trout, spanish, blues, flounder and some others.

Panama City Fishing Forecast:

Trout fishing is picking up. Reds are on the flats.
Spanish and blues on the ledges.
Nice kings offshore.
Starting to catch more and more flounder, won't be long for that bite.
Also, we always seem to boat a bunch of nice trout in August. Come get in on the fun.
Target Species:

Anything that swims
